Um nosomi für das Jahr 2009 zu positionieren nehme ich mit nosomi an einen “VenturePlan” Workshop teil. Das “VenturePlan” ist ein Förderprogramm des “Schweizer Bundes für innovative Start-ups mit Wachstumspotenzial” und wird angeboten vom  Institut für Jungunternehmen (IJF). Der Workshop beginnt im Januar 2009.

Mein Ziel ist es, nosomi für 2009 richtig zu positionieren.

After some weeks of work we reached Version 1.1

Version 1.1 is the latest version and has more than 40 enhancements over version 1.0.

The most important enhancements are:

• Secure connection to the nosomi server via SSL.
• It is now possible to pay for nosomi actions with credit card and PayPal.
• Time Zones support so that users worldwide can start and end action exactly on their local times.
• Emails to users and recipients of nosomi actions are now beautiful HTML emails (we support Text and HTML)
• Sample screenshots of an gift action
• Fixing German Text
• Some Internet Explorer 6 and 7 problems solved
• many more enhancements

Nach einigen Wochen Arbeit haben wir Version 1.1 erreicht.

Version 1.1 ist die neuste Version welche über 40 Änderungen gegenüber Version 1.0 beinhaltet.

nosomi general updates and internationalisation

Dear nosomi followers

Its so good to be online and out there. Now, that the first version is online, it is time to improve the usability of the site piece-by-piece.

The latest updates are:

• Nicer icons for the action creation wizard (thanks to Thomas).
• Time Zone support. Getting in gear for more internationalisation.
• Some Backend features.

Further, I am very excited that the translator team is ready.

I am currently setting up the right translation environment to make it as easy as possible for the translators to

1. translate the pages and
2. keep up-to-date with page changes

Looking forward for more.

This is the official start of nosomi. A site that lets you setup a gift page with various gifts where your customers or employees can choose the gift they like most.

The last weeks have been lots of fun working on nosomi. Thanks to everyone involved. It was a pleasure working with you.
